Pupienus, 238. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 25 mm, 9.82 g, 1 h), Rome, circa April-June 238. IMP CAES M CLOD PUPIENVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Pupienus to right, seen from behind. Rev. VI[C]TORIA AV[G]G / S - C Victory standing front, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm in her left. BMC 61. Cohen 39. RIC 24. Extremely rare. Smoothed and with some flan problems and cracks, otherwise, very fine.
